Roasted Garlic
Prepare one head of roasted garlic for each stick of butter you plan to make. You can use this recipe for Roasted Garlic or this recipe for Air Fryer Roasted Garlic. Let cool before handling.
Roasted Garlic Butter
Add the softened butter to a bowl. Squeeze the cloves of the roasted garlic into the bowl. Mash with a fork until well-combined.
If using unsalted butter, season to taste with salt. If using fresh herbs, add them at this stage and smash into the butter.
Shape the roasted garlic into a log using a piece of plastic wrap. Roll the plastic wrap, securing the sides by twisting closed.
Serve right away, or place in the fridge to harden.
