Ingredients

  • 1 navel orange

Instructions

  • Use a sharp knife or a mandoline to cut your oranges into orange wheels.
  • Cover the base of the air fryer basket with parchment paper.
  • Place cut orange slices in a single layer on the parchment paper. Air fry at 180 degrees Fahrenheit for 60 to 90 minutes, or until fully dried, flipping every 30 minutes.

Notes

General
  • Air fryers can vary in size and temperature, so be sure to check your oranges early.
  • Some air fryers will only go to 200 degrees Fahrenheit. In this case, check your oranges around the 45-minute mark and continue cooking as needed.
  • Work in batches. You won't want to crowd the air fryer, so work in batches to ensure the oranges are in an even, single layer.
  • Try this recipe with grapefruit, lemon, lime, or blood oranges!
Storage
  • Place air fryer dehydrated oranges in an airtight container, like a mason jar, locking glass container, or Ziploc bag and store in a cool, dry place.
