Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat. Grate half of an onion using the smallest or second-smallest holes of a box grater.
Measure two tablespoons of the grated onion, leaving behind any liquid.
Combine ground turkey, Worcestershire sauce, grated onion, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
Combine the ingredients in the meat mixture well, trying not to overwork the turkey meat.
Divide the turkey into eight equal portions.
Add the burgers to the skillet and cook for about 4 minutes on each side.
Toast the buns.
If adding cheese, add it in the last two minutes of cooking.
Remove the finished sliders from the pan, measuring with a meat thermometer to ensure they have reached an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
Build the burgers using your favorite toppings and serve right away!
