Why You'll Love This Dish

This dish is super easy. Add blueberries to a preheated air fryer, shake occasionally, and take them out when they're done.

I’ve also included directions for the oven and dehydrator!

They are a healthy alternative to traditional desserts.

This recipe uses literally only one ingredient to create an incredibly delicious result. The sweetness of the berry is amplified as they are dehydrated, leaving crisp fruit with a concentrated blueberry flavor.

Finally, air-fried blueberries are a healthy snack or dessert. Blueberries have lots of vitamin C, fiber, and antioxidants! Check out this article for more information about the health benefits of blueberries.

Notes

General
  1. Air fryers can vary in size and temperature, so be sure to check your strawberries early.
  2. Some air fryers will only go to 200 degrees Fahrenheit. In this case, try only cooking them for 45 minutes first, flipping around the 22-minute mark.
  3. Work in batches. You won't want to crowd the air fryer, so work in batches to ensure the strawberries are in an even, single layer.
Storage
  1. Fridge You can store air fryer strawberries in an airtight container in the fridge, but fully dehydrated berries to not need to be refrigerated. I advise refrigerating if you are not certain if the berries are fully dehydrated.
  2. Freezer To freeze, make sure the fruit is completely dry and cooled. Place in a plastic bag and remove as much air as possible. Seal the bag and place in the freezer for later use.
