- Strawberries Try to select fresh strawberries with bright red coloring, healthy green leaves, and a shiny exterior. Avoid strawberries that have a lot of white on them, as these parts will not be as sweet, and avoid overly mushy or overripe berries.

Oven Directions
Step One Preheat your oven to its lowest temperature.
Step Two Slice the strawberries into ¼- to ⅛-inch thick slices and place them in an even layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Step Three Place the baking sheet in the oven and cook until the strawberries are fully dried, flipping occasionally, about 2 hours.
Dehydrator Directions
Step One Place ¼-inch thick sliced strawberries on the trays of your dehydrator in an even layer without the berries touching. Close the dehydrator doors.
Step Two Dehydrate the strawberries at 135 degrees Fahrenheit for about 8 hours, or until fully dried.
